LOOK INCREDIBLE - FEBRUARY DELUXE BOX

So I didn't actually get round the blogging on a new beauty box I subscribed to last month and as this month's box has now arrived I definitely want to share the products included.

The Look Incredible box does have a higher price point than most of your average beauty boxes out there but you get full sized, high end, makeup with the total cost being a lot higher than what you pay.

This month's box includes four makeup products all by well known brands.

I was super excited to see the Opal Glow On The Go Collection by Becca. It includes both the pressed and liquid versions of their bestselling highlighters in their shade Opal' I've never tried a product by Becca so I'm super excited to be able to try something from them.

I absolutely love Benefit products so loved that there was another one of their products included in this month's box. They're Real Double The Lip Lipstick & Liner is a semi matte lipstick that feature a custom teardrop tip that grabs and defines your lip line. I'm not sure how I feel about the shade but will definitely be trying it out.

The Definicils High Definition Mascara by Lancome should have been included in my box but for some reason I got something different. I still got a product from Lancome but it was their lash primer instead. Which is super disappointing as I'd much rather have their mascara to try out than their lash primer.

And the last product is the Chill In The Six Eyeshadow Palette by Cargo Cosmetics. It features a wintry cool toned blend of purple, blues and silver eyeshadows and a bold eyeliner to enhance the appearance of your eyes.

I think my favourite products have definitely been the Becca highlight products. I would have been really excited to have received the Lancome mascara. I have contacted their customer care team so hopefully I will end up receiving it. The Cargo palette hasn't really wowed me by the shades and I'm not entirely sure on the Benefit lipstick and liner shade but I will try it anyway.

CHOOSING MY 9 ITEMS IN FEBRUARY'S LATEST IN BEAUTY BOX

Another month of Latest In Beauty and it's still honestly my favourite beauty box I'm subscribed to. They always have a good variety of products to pick out and I always find something I actually need. It's one of my favourite boxes to blog about and I'm always super excited to receive my box.

My box subscription is for nine products and costs £18 a month including postage costs, although they do have other subscription packages you can choose from. Like I pretty much say in every LIb post I do, I honestly recommend them, especially for those who have unsubscribed from other beauty boxes due to disappointment.

And they've started doing a Haul of Fame which means each month you get the chance to pick a popular higher branded product. I managed to get the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara for February. I've never tried anything from Marc Jacobs before so can't wait to try this mascara out.

This product I did actually pick previously from LiB but I loved it that much I had to choose it again when I saw it was still available. The Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask by Garnier has been the best sheet mask that I've tried so far. It fits really good compared to all the other sheet masks I've tired and it felt super hydrating and made my skin feel really clean and soft after. Plus I loved that I didn't have to rinse off and only just moisturise in.

I'm literally obsessed with cleansers and am always looking for different products to try out so when I saw they had a sample size of the Gentle Skin Cleanser by Cetaphil I wanted to try it. I've never heard of the brand before but apparently it's super cheap but gives good results and is quite popular.

And although I have loads of body lotions to test out, I did pick the Coconut Water and Mimosa Flower body lotion by Love Beauty And Planet. I haven't tried it yet but it smells so nice. I'd probably use this one around Summer time as it does give off a really nice warm summery scent.

I've also picked out the same product from a previous box from LIB and that's the Dr. Organic Self Tan Mousse. I picked their product in light before so had to grab this one in their dark shade, as if I end up liking it I have this one if I fancy going darker.

Kind of a boring product I guess but I'm always wanting back up of products I use frequently so I picked out the Wilkinson Disposable Razors. I use one of their razors where you can change the heads and love it but I definitely like to keep extra razors as a back up just in case.

I also picked out the multi purpose oil by Nuxe Paris. It can be used on your face, for your hair, or body.

The 7 Second Morning Mask by Starskin looked interesting. It's a skin mask pad that has a beaded side for exfoliation and another side that delivers a serum.

And the final product is the Show Beauty Luxe volume mousse. I'm definitely going to try this out for when I tie my hair back as I hate those little bumps you get.

If you're subscribed to LIB, what products did you choose? And if you're not subscribed to LIB, are you subscribed to any beauty boxes?

ROCCABOX UNBOXING - FEBRUARY 2019 BOX

Well hello everybody,

Before I start chatting about the products in this month's box, I'm really happy to announce that Roccabox have gone completely 100% recyclable with their boxes. I really hope some of the beauty subscription services follow suit. It's so good to see these kind of changes happening.

So this month's box features seven products in total.

They've included two products from the St Tropez range. Their Luxe Tan Applicator Mitt to use with their Purity Bronzing Water Gel. Apparently this particular product doesn't need rinsing after being applied and set. It boasts of no streaks, no transfer and no tell tale smell, whilst also giving a natural medium golden glow and up to 72 hours of skin hydration.

A product which I definitely know I won't be keeping is the Perfect Pout Lip Gloss by Cougar. It works to increase the volume of the lips, decrease anti-ageing and anti-sagging effect on the lips, and improves hydration and softness of the lips. I absolutely hate lip gloss so just won't ever use this.

I absolutely love the brand Sanctuary Spa so loved that their Wet Skin Moisture Miracle was included in this month's box. This product is used in the shower on wet skin with no rinse and gives hydration for instant softer and smoother skin.

There's also the Volume and Bounce shampoo and conditioner by Charles Worthington. I've not been wowed by any shampoo or conditioner I've received from any of the beauty boxes I'm subscribed to so I don't think expect these to be anything special.

And the last product is a sample size of the Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely purfume vial. I actually have a bigger sized product of this from a different box and it's really not my type of scent.

I definitely am going to use the products by St Tropez and the Sanctuary Spa product. I'll end up using the shampoo as conditioner but can't see myself being wowed by them. The lip gloss and purfume vial I'll end up giving away too.

1. St Tropez Purity Bronzing Water Gel (Deluxe Size 24ml) - Rrp £33 Full size for 200ml

2. St Tropez Velvet Luxe Tan Applicator Mitt (FULL SIZE) Rrp £4

3. Cougar Perfect Pout Lip Gloss (FULL SIZE) Rrp £14.99

4. Sanctuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle (Deluxe Mini 50ml) Rrp £8 for Full Size 200ml

5. Charles Worthington Volume and Bounce S&C (DELUXE MINI 75ml) Rrp £5.99 for full size 250ml

6. Sarah Jessica Parker, Lovely - Purfume Vial - Full size Rrp £48 - £56

LOOK FANTASTIC - FEBRUARY 2019 BOX

You know, every time I do a blog post, I just struggle so bad to start the post. Like I know what I want to say but it's just the starting point. I feel like I'm pretty repetitive sometimes as I honestly just really don't know how to start a post. I can literally be sat staring at the blank page ready to start blogging but not knowing how to start it. Once that first sentence is typed it's a piece of cake but it's getting that first part done.

Anyway, let's get straight into the products in this month's Look Fantastic box.

They've actually started to do sneak peeks now so we all knew about the Face Form Palette by Sleek. It's a beautifully stunning contour palette that features a matte contour shade, a flushed blush, and a dewy highlighter. I have a contour I use religiously by Sleek and they're honestly super pigmented but blend really easy. And Sleek is an easily affordable brand too. I definitely recommend checking the brand out.

Another haircare product is in this month's box (Honestly they're in every single beauty box at the moment) which is the Philip Kingsley Maximizer. Providing volume, this spray holds hair in place whilst smoothing frizz and adding shine. I won't see myself using this at all. I have super long straight hair and I'm lucky that it's really thick and healthy looking so everytime I receive these type of products I'm kind of bummed as I just don't have a use for them.

There's also a Matte lip pencil in the shade intimacy by Lord & Berry. I've tried one of their highlight pencils and it's super good for using on the brow bone or inner corner.

I've actually had this product from a different beauty box before. The Doucce Punk Mascara amplifies, separates, curls, and coats lashes from root to tip. I did like the product and used it all but I never felt it was any better than the mascara you can get from the drugstore so I never did go out and purchase myself.

And this product was a major disappointment to see in this box and that's the Gold Eye Lash Curler by Emité. I already have an eyelash curler I use and even then I don't always remember to use it. I don't need two of the same thing.

The last product is the Deep Sea Mud Bar by Erno Laszlo. Containing 26 minerals, this bar protects, restores and cleanses skin, leaving complexion soft and radiant. I will definitely try this product out as I absolutely love trying different cleaners.

This month's box wasn't all that bad compared to some of their others ones. I definitely feel that they don't seem to put as much effort into their boxes as they do Glossybox which is owned by the same company fyi. And Look Fantastic is slightly more which makes one think you're getting something better. Glossybox really does win each time. I feel a lot of their products are mini sizes as well but then they don't tell you the sizes of their products which is a disappointment.

I am considering switching to a different beauty box and have been looking at a few different ones.

If you're subscribed to Look Fantastic, what did you think of this month's box?

GLOSSYBOX UNBOXING - FEBRUARY 2019 BOX

Okay, but how cute is this month's Glossybox packaging?

I'm definitely going to be keeping this box.

This month's box hasn't really wowed me this time around and I'm not really feeling much for the products. I mean there's definitely one or two products that I'm going to put to use but some of the stuff really isn't all that exciting. And I know others have been feeling the same.

This is what this month's card looks like. It's got all the products you'll have received in your box, a little bit of information on the product, whether it's full sized or not, and just how much each product is worth. And you get a sneak peek of one of the products you'll get in the next month's box too.

As always, the total of your box is always worth more than what you pay and you usually get five products, with two to three products I find usually being full sized.

We already had the sneak peek of the Huda Beauty lip contour stick from last months box. Waterproof and transfer-free, you can use it to both contour and colour you lips or pair it with one of Huda's liquid matte lipsticks. There are two different shades you could have received in the box. I got the shade Venus. I never really use lip pencils as I usually only wear liquid lipsticks and don't find I need a lip pencil. I may or may not use this. I'll give it away if I don't end putting it to use.

I really love nail polishes and although I do usually get my nails done professionally, I will do my own nails from time to time. But this nail varnish by Nails Inc will most likely be passed onto somebody else as I don't suit red nail polish at all. The shade is Status Red.

I'm pretty sure I have a fan brush from a previous beauty box that I still haven't tried out so I think I have two of the same brushes. This is the medium fan brush by Luxie Beauty which I am certain we received a brush from this brand in the Glossybox advent calendar.

They have included a toothpaste by the Brand Regenerate as well which is something that is definitely underwhelming. Firstly, because I don't want to try lots of toothpastes and sample them as I have one I enjoy using and want to stick to using and we have had this exact product from this brand in a previous box by Glossybox before. But for those whose interest may be peaked, it boasts of unique NR-5 ingredients, reversing early enamel erosion process whilst also giving pearly white teeth and fresh minty breath. I used the previous one I had and didn't notice any difference to your standard toothpaste from the Supermarket.

I wasn't surprised to see another face mask in this months box as lately every beauty box every month seems to have a face mask in their boxes. I did have a lot of face masks at one point as a different beauty box I am subscribed to did a box one month where it was just face mask related but I've started to use a few up and have been really trying to stick to a regime where I do a face mask once a week.

This is the Multivitamin Mask by Vitamasques. It's a Korean face mask formulated with nourishing vitamins, to moisturise and hydrate dry skin for a healthy glow. I tried their gold dust sheet mask from Look Fantastic's box last month and hated the way it made my skin feel after. But I love Korean skincare and find they are some of the best skincare brands out there so hopefully this mask may be different to the one I have tried.

And the last products which were included as extra treats are sample sizes of the Mugler Alien Fushion Parfum and Alien man Fushion. I got my hubby to try the men's and it honestly smells amazing. I love the women's but not sure if it's my smell. I'm seriously addicted to perfumes and have been thinking of subscribing to a perfume subscription box.
