REVIEWING THE W7 KISS INK LIQUID LIPSTICK RANGE

I realised the other day that I haven't been blogging all that much lately and when I do it's always about the beauty boxes I'm subscribed to.

Although I love blogging about them, I really do miss blogging about other stuff and I'm not sure why I stopped as I honestly have so many products to try out and review on my blog and can easily find other stuff to blog about too.

A lifetime ago I bought some liquid lipsticks from the brand W7 to try out and review on my blog, as well as film over on my youtube channel. And a few weeks ago I did eventually get around to filming and testing them out. But then for some reason I lost half the video, tried to correct it, couldn't, so cried and gave up.

But I really want to share with you my thoughts on these and feel it's worth making a blog post about.

The liquid lipsticks I purchased are part of their Kiss Ink range which are still currently available to buy on their website.

I purchased the four shades they have which are;

Love You Long Time
Stuck On You
Infinity & Beyond
Forever And Ever

Before I go any further, I will say that the brand W7 is ridiculously cheap and they do sell a variety of makeup products you can try out, as well as some skincare stuff too. I've tried different products off them and do believe from my experience that you do get what you pay for. But some stuff is honestly really good and then there are some products that are not so good. Which to be fair, kind of applies to most brands out there.

Anway,

This is what the liquid lipsticks look like by the way. I really actually like the packaging. It didn't feel that cheap and flimsy. I liked the design of the tops as well. As for the size of these? You get 7ml worth of product in each and they retail at £5.95 each.

The thing I tend to look for in a product (Aside from the formula being the obvious) is the wand. I've tried some liquid lipsticks before and have absolutely hated the wands, be it the quality, the way they're shaped, how they bend, etc.

As for how they applied? Well beautifully actually. Like super soft and creamy. They glided on like a dream. Actually they were probably the best liquid lipsticks I've ever tried that, well, felt so good when applying.

Next, the formula... I definitely found some performed better than others. The formula was quite thin in constitency and I did have to apply layers with some of them as it was quite sheer on my lips. They looked beautiful after though. They dried down really well and felt lightweight on. I couldn't tell I had the product on at all.

I wasn't a fan of the shade Infinity & Beyond just because of the colour being a very bold pink. Although it was beautiful, it just didn't suit me at all.

There was no transfer either which is super good for any lip product in my opinion.

Now onto the negatives because there is usually always bound to be one. When it came to taking a drink of water the product literally became crumble like on my lips. Now usually I drink most fluids through a straw so it probably wouldn't have happened if I had used a straw when testing but not everybody does so I wanted to test that and see how well it lasted. Which is a really big let down of the product because although I know you're usually going to have to do a touch up if you drink quite a lot in a short period of time or have something to eat when wearing a liquid lippy it really did react at the slightest wetness of the lips.

But honestly I think they're absolute great liquid lipsticks and I will definitely wear them from time time.

Here are some swatches I did by the way

NOVEMBER'S LATEST IN BEAUTY BOX - THE PRODUCTS I CHOSE

I'm back with my third Latest In Beauty box and I'm honestly just as happy with the products I have picked in this box as the previous ones. Latest In Beauty is honestly one of my favourite beauty boxes and I'm so glad to have discovered them.

Anyway,

I do try and choose a variety of different products but I have found I mainly gravitate towards skincare products and that's also because I have to say Latest In Beauty are quite limited to the makeup items they have. More of their skincare items are more interesting than the makeup they have, for me personally.

I do also try to choose things that I really feel I may need.

Like these facial wipes by the brand Salcura. They're supposedly good for acne and oily skin. I do suffer from breakouts but can't say I get all that oily. I have tried these wipes a few times and am definitely not all that wowed by them.

I've never tried any nail polish by Sally Hansen before and a lot of people say their polishes are some of the best out there. So I just had to pick their Jingle Red Rock duo with a top coat.

I've never tried hair removal cream before and have been really curious to try it out and see if it works better than shaving. I definitely am curious to try around the bikini line as shaving can be a real pain there.

I also picked out a sheet mask by the brand The Perfect V. I honestly have so many freaking masks to try out and use.

I use the Bondi Sands Ultra Dark Foam and really love it but when I saw the St Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower I wanted to give it a try. I'm not expecting it to be anywhere near as good as Bondi Sands and I have tried St Tropez a long time ago and wasn't impressed with how the tan looked but I am hoping as it's a shower lotion it might look nicer.

I did choose another hand cream by the brand Natural Siberica as I am frequent hand cream user and wasn't all that much of a fan of the one I picked in the last box.

And even though I use an electric toothbrush I did get a toothbrush by the brand The Humble Co.

The last products is a tube of Sudocrem and, finally, a moisturising sorbet by Caudalie.

I really recommend Latest In Beauty for those who have been subscribed to beauty boxes before and cancelled due to repeating disappointment.

ROCCABOX UNBOXING - UNBOXING NOVEMBER'S PAMPER BOX

So I know I've said in quite a few of my beauty unboxing blog posts and videos that I haven't been minding the frequent face masks I've been getting in all of the other boxes this past few months..

Well after this box, I definitely think I have enough to keep me going for awhile.

This month's Roccabox is all about getting pampered and looking after your skin ahead of the festive season. Collaborating with Freeman Beauty, this month's box is jammed packed with face masks of all varieties to take care of your skin needs.

It's definitely surprised me to see their box with one main beauty product and I like the change. I do love face masks and obviously they're something you can get through quickly if you do them on a frequent basis, plus I always enjoy trying out new brands as well. Although it is mainly geared towards masks, they do include three other items in the box.

So the first sheet is their Beauty Infusion Sheet Mask. You know, I don't usually go for sheet masks and the ones I have tried are always really crappy to adjust to fit and always just look ridiculous on me.

Another sheet mask is their Pore Cleansing strawberry and mint sheet mask.

There's also a lip plumping mask in manuka honey and nectarine. I'm definitely keen to try this mask out as I've never tried a lip mask before and I can get really dry lips too.

Another mask is their Polishing Charcoal + Black Sugar Gel Mask + Scrub

And the final mask is their Purifying Avocado + Oatmeal Clay Mask.

They also included some Cranberries and Cream heart bath fizzers that honestly smell so nice. I can't wait to try them out.

Included in the box is a sample of some Tumeric Matcha Green Tea by Pure Chimp

And finally, a flat foundation brush by the brand Niré.

I am a bath kind of person and really enjoy doing a face mask and soaking in a nice hot bubble bath so I'm definitely really happy with the contents in this month's box and feel like each product I can make good use of.

Are you subscribed to Roccabox? What did you think of this month's box?

MUMSY BOX UNBOXING POST - NOVEMBER'S 2018 BOX

You ever love the packaging of a product so much, sometimes even more than the product itself? Well this month's Mumsy Box outer packaging has seriously got me like..damn

Because it's stunning and is the first of their boxes that I know I'm just going to have to keep.

I love the design. I mean it's just the kind  of design I would have wanted on my bedroom wall when I was a child and it seriously reminds me of the gold painted starts I had on my ceiling  and I always felt calm when I looked up at them.

All the boxes that come each month have a design on the box but this particular one is my favourite.

And if you watched my video on their October's box or read my blog post then you'll know I was seriously underwhelmed with the contents you received in the box and did feel pretty cheated for my money.

Well I'm glad to see that this month's box seems to be much better in value. I have really been enjoying the discovery of the products inside Mumsy boxes and would hate to have to cancel another box due to having disappointment each month.

So the products in this month's box are mainly skincare products with some treats thrown in too.

I know I kept saying for ages that I loved receiving face masks but boy I think I spoke to soon because I've been receiving so many face masks lately and have also received another box this month that is face mask geared so I have so many to try out. This particular mask is by the brand Spacemasks and is actually an eye mask which I'm definitely glad about as I haven't received an eye mask yet so I'll definitely be making use of this.

I was also pretty stoked to see a cuticle oil in this box as I suffer so badly from dry cuticles and nail grooves. Having a recent pedicure has helped but it's a ongoing problem for me.

There's also a sample size of the Reviving Facial Oil by Urban Veda. I'm pretty glad it's sample size as I do have a facial oil I occasionally use (When I remember to) and know that I have another one from a previous box to try if I did run out of the current one.

There is also a small bottle of the Shampoo, Bath, and Shower Gel by Amazing Grace. It does smell pretty nice and although I love shower gels and trying different ones I'm always skeptical when it comes to shower gels in beauty boxes as I usually find they're a let down. And the back of the bottle does say prolonged use can cause urinary tract issues. Not quite sure what to make of that.

There is another product from Urban Veda which is their Reviving Day Cream. I still need to get around to trying their facial polish and wash received in the previous Mumsy box.

And the final product is the Pure Mylk chocolate by Raw Halo.

That's all the products in this month's box and they have actually given prices for the first time.

1. Shampoo, Bath, Shower Gel by Amazing Grace - Rrp £19.50 / 489ml - SMALL SIZE - 30ML

2. Nail & Cuticle Oil by Absolute Aromas. Rrp £5.26 / 10ML - FULL SIZE

3. Reviving Day Cream by Urban Veda Rrp £18.99 / 50ml - SMALL SIZE

4. Reviving Facial Oil by Urban Veda Rrp £29.99 / 30ml - SAMPLE SIZE

5. Pure Mylk by Raw Halo Rrp £2.79 / 35g - FULL SIZE

6. Self Heating Eye Mask by Spacemasks Rrp £3.50 X1 - FULL SIZE

Are you a Mumsy box subscriber? What did you think of this month's box?

Xoxo

GLOSSYBOX UNBOXING - NOVEMBER 2018 UK BOX

Another month is upon us. Honestly, I can't get over how quick it's being going since September. There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day. This year has gone super quick in my opinion and it's like everybody has been saying the exact same thing, that 2018 has been a quick but rubbish year for them. I can honestly agree and say cheers to the coming of 2019 because I am so ready to put this year behind me.

But before I go onto a ramble and lose myself into writing utter nonscence for over half a page, I'll get straight into what this blog post is actually about; Glossybox.

And, boy, I am loving this month's box.

So this month's box gives you a total of six products, with a mixture of makeup and skincare and you get two full sized products and four of your smaller sizes ones.

The thing that got me excited about the most in this box is the liquid lipstick by Huda Beauty. I've been wanting to try her liquid lipsticks in forever and I'm just glad I'm now able to. You can be assured that her products are both vegan and cruelty free and these particular liquid lipsticks are smooth, lightweight, glide on easy, and have a transfer free finish. I got the shade 'Girlfriend' but I believe there is a different shade that some people will be receiving in their box.

You also get a deluxe mini size of the Micro-Derm Regenerator by the brand Context. A two in one cleanser with a difference, it says it gently exfoliates, polishes, and purifies. Plus it's cruelty free and fragrance free too.

And the second full size product is the Eaton Eyeshadow Palette by Stylondon. It's handbag size friendly, cruelty free, and contains a mixture of Mattes and shimmers. I do love the colours in this palette. They're stunning.

Another skincare item is the deluxe mini Balancing Skin Concentrate by Yourgoodskin. It boasts a unique complex of Green Tea and Vitamin C to help improve skin texture, moisture, radiance, oiliness, and skin tone evenness in just 28 days.

A product I'm pretty tired of seeing in beauty boxes now is another hair mask. This one is the Restore Mask Treatment by Loving Proof. It's a deeply conditioner that restores damaged hair and moisture levels. I have so many hair masks now that I am bored of having them to be honest so it will probably hair be another product to add to the Christmas giveaway I plan to do the end of the month.

And the final product which is a sample size is a vial of Chloé Nomade Eau De Parfum. It smells so beautiful honestly. I just love trying out little perfume samples.

That's the six products in this month's box and below are the product prices and sizes for reference.

1. Liquid Matte Lipstick (Shade: Girlfriend) by Huda Beauty. £18 - FULL SIZE

2. Micro-Derm Regenerator by Context. £6.50 - DELUXE MINI (£26.70 Full Size)

3. Eaton Eyeshadow Palette by Stylondon. £9.99 - FULL SIZE

4. Balancing Skin Concentrate by Yourgoodskin. £5.83 DELUXE MINI (Full Size Check website for details)

5. Restore Mask Treatment by Living Proof. £10 TRAVEL SIZE

6. Chloé Nomade Eau De Parfum - SAMPLE SIZE (Full Size £47)

I really love all the products in this month's box. The only one I'm not bothered about is the hair mask which I'll just give away. This is probably one of my favourite boxes by Glossybox in such a long time. Are you subscribed to Glossybox. What liquid lipstick did you receive?
