GLOSSYBOX UNBOXING - JUNE 2019 BOX

This month's box Glossybox is packed with all the essential products you need to get ready for whatever occasion you have coming up. With five products in total, each one comes full sized and with the value of the box being well over £100 pounds.

I was super stoked to see another product by the brand Avant just because of how expensive the brand is (Not something I can ever afford myself) and how positive the reviews are on the products performance. This particular product in this month's box is their pro perfecting collagen touche eclat primer. Silky, lightweight and universal it mattifies and softens your complexion while also reducing lines and wrinkles.

I'm kind of meh about receiving yet again another hair mask by the brand Husk because I have enough hair masks I am getting through and I'm not sold by the whole hair mask thing and don't agree with the costs for a lot of them. I received (There was 3 different ones you could have received) the Brut Rose deep conditioning mask that protects and hydrates colour treated locks.

There is a lip product in this months box and I'm super happy with the shade because I do tend to receive a lot of lip products in colours that just aren't right for me. This is the lip creme matte by Modelco which comes in a peachy nude. It boasts a long lasting and highly pigmented colour that instantly gives you a rich matte coverage.

I was disappointed to see another Sleek palette. Although I love the brand, this exact palette had only recently been in a Look Fantastic box which Glossybox come under the same company as Look Fantastic so it definitely was disappointing to see they had put them in both of their boxes. I will end up giving one away as having two is absolutely unnecessary as it's definitely a palette that will last forever. I got the palette in light and it features a contour shade, a blush, and a highlighter.

And the final product is by a brand I have never come across before. It's the eyeshadow chubby stix by Meech N Mia. Boasting a rich and creamy formula this highly pigmented gold eyeshadow pencil glides on effortlessly and promises amazing pay off.

Overall the box definitely doesn't come under some of my favourites but I am definitely happy with the primer and lip creme, will use the hair mask, will get rid of the palette and most likely the eyeshadow stick as well.

Each product is full sized but below is the RRP of each individual product with a total value of the box as well.

1. Pro Perfecting Collagen Touche Eclat Primer - Avant - RRP £85

2. Unwined Deep Conditioner - Husk - RRP £3.99

ROCCABOX UNBOXING - JUNE 2019 BOX

Okay, so this month's Roccabox has really rocked socks. I've absolutely loved every product from this month so it's definitely one of my favourite boxes I have received.

There are a total of five products and an extra treat too and their theme for this month is all about exfoliating, preening and prepping your skin, shedding off the Spring and defining those cheekbones, ready to snap your perfect smile.

The first product is by the brand Unicorn Cosmetics and is their beauty egg blending sponge. I haven't actually tried it yet but it's super soft and bouncy so fingers crossed it performs well. I love the beauty blender sponges and also love the Real Techniques blending sponges but I have never found a sponge that is as good as the Beauty Blender so it will be interesting to see how it compares.

The next product is the reviving exfoliating facial polish by Urban Veda. I have actually tried this polish before and really enjoyed it so will use this again. It says it is designed to be massaged in to stimulate circulation and to gently buff away skin cells to reveal deeply cleansed, soft and youthful skin.

I love Nip and Fab skincare products but haven't tried much of their makeup so I'm keen to try their definition medium sculpt fix stix. It says the definition medium sculpt has a caramel tone with a matte finish, creating the perfect shadow for sculpting and defining facial features. I'm hoping the shade won't be too dark so I will look the exact product up first before fully opening it as if I don't think it will be right for me I will just give it away. But if not, I will definitely try this out.

The daily defence moisturiser by Cetaphil is also included in the box. A light weight easily absorbed day cream, it hydrates skin and provides very high broad-spectrum UVA/B photoprotection to help defend skin against the effects of daily exposure to sunlight and help skin maintain its natural protective barrier. I do have a sample size of one of their products to try out so I will try it out with this one. It seems an affordable brand so hopefully the products work well.

And the final product is by the brand Monuskin. I absolutely love the brand and their products. I use their eye cooling gel each morning as well as their night renewal complex so I will be keeping their skin perfector and incorporating it into my daily skin regime.

1.The Beauty Egg - Unicorn Cosmetics - RRP £4.99 - Full Size

2. Reviving Exfoliating Facial Polish - Urban Veda - RRP £13.99 - Travel Size

3. Skin Perfector - Monuskin - RRP £29.50 - Full Size

4. Daily Defence Moisturiser - Cetaphil - RRP £8.59 Travel Size

5. Fix Stix Definition Medium Sculpt - Nip and Fab - RRP £10.95 Full Size

Total £68.02 - Monthly subscription cost £10 + £3.95 PP (Although I don't think the box value is accurate on £68.02 as this is if each product was full sized and two are not so I believe the total cost is actually less) I loved the products but the value could be better for this month in my opinion.

LOOK INCREDIBLE - JUNE 2019 BOX

I literally love receiving my Look Incredible box every month. It's honestly one of my favourite boxes and I'm always super excited to see what products I am going to receive and by which top brands. Although on the pricey side, you always get a high total value of the products combined, every product is always full sized, and there are so many products to try out and you always receive popular products by well known high end brands.

This month's box features four products. Included is the Ocean Jewels Highlighter Palette by Becca. Featuring five brand new shades of Becca's iconic shimmering skin perfector pressed highlighter formula. Inspired by the dazzling light of the midday sun, this iconic formula is enriched with ultra-fine, luminescent pearls that absorb, reflect, and refract light to amplify your natural radiance.

I did actually try to find this palette on the Becca website and could not as apparently this is because it was limited edition and I believe released last year, although I did find a website selling it for half the original price. The reviews were all positive. It's certainly a stunning palette with pretty shades and the outer packaging is gorgeous.

There is also a lipstick by Tarte from their Rainforest of the sea collection. I was super excited to receive a product by Tarte and then actually found myself rather disappointed with the shade. I received a hot pink lipstick in Ocean Drive (fuchsia) Unfortunately bright pinks just do not suit me so I won't be using this lipstick and will pass it on. It's a bit gutting actually as I received a Tarte liquid lipstick in a previous box and it was in a deep red shade which I also haven't been able to use because red just does not suit me. I'm really hoping there will be a Tarte product in a Look Incredible box in the future that I will actually be able to use as I have yet been able to try anything from the brand.

Included is the Crystal Clear Lip Gloss by Elizabeth Arden. With a fresh spearmint flavour, just for fun, it delivers high shine impact.

I will also be passing this one on as I really don't like glosses much and have only one I have kept by so I know I will never end up using this.

The final product is the Anti-Ageing Cucumber Facial Mask by Skinchemists. The peel off mask contains chamomile extract and Arctic Bearberry extract which gives an intensive deep clean, lifting away excess oil, impurities and dead skin cells to reveal a renewed complexion. The cleansing mask helps to reduce the appearance of pores and protect against free radical damage for thorough refreshed, radiant skin.

Overall this month's box hasn't been the greatest. Two out of four products keeping isn't the best. I absolutely hate gloss products and I'm disappointed in the shade for the Tarte Rainforest Of The Sea lipstick.

1. Ocean Jewels Highlighter Palette - Becca - RRP £41

2. Anti-Ageing Cucumber Facial Mask - Skinchemist - RRP £20

3. Crystal Clear Lip Gloss - Elizabeth Arden - RRP £18

4. Rainforest Of The Sea Lipstick (Ocean Drive Fuschia) Tarte - RRP £20

Monthly subscription cost £35 including PP - Total value for this months box £99

LOOK FANTASTIC - JUNE 2019 BEAUTY BOX

This month's Look Fantastic box celebrates beauty products from around the world. They have introduced some of the world's best beauty products and allowing you to discover something that you may not have tried before.

There are a total of six products in June's box that are all skincare based products. It would have been nice to have seen a makeup product or two but there we go.

Anyway,

So the first product is by the brand SVR. Their Topialyse Palpebrale dry + sensitive eyelid cream calms and soothes sensitive and itchy eyes. With clinical proven effectiveness, this French eye cream delivers 24 hour hydration, immediately relieving any discomfort. Created to soothe, reduce redness and irritation, moisturise the delicate eye area and protect against external aggressors - this eye cream addresses a wide range of concerns.

I have an eye cream and eye cooling gel that I use every day. I didn't actually know there was such a thing as an eyelid cream so I am super eager to try this out and will be adding this in as a part of my daily skin regime.

The next product is a peeling mask by the Danish brand Ecooking. Utilising AHA's including Lactic, Salicylic and Glycolic acid, this mask buffs away dead skin cells to reveal a radiant and glowing complexion. 100% vegan, this mask delivers results in under 10 minutes.

There is also an EGF serum by the Icelandic brand Bioeffect. Using a plant based replica of EGF (a naturally occurring human protein) this serum acts as an anti-ageing treatment by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, whilst boosting radiance. Quick absorbing, this serum deeply moisturises and rehydrates. 100% vegan, this mask delivers results in under 10 minutes.

Unfortunately it seems there will always be hair-care products in beauty boxes which most of the time are ones I don't end up keeping, as a lot of the products are not something I need to use for my own hair. This product is the Go Big Treatment by Bumble and Bumble. It says boost limp hair with the thickening go big treatment. Improving strength and texture, this conditioning treatment helps create a healthy, soft and volumised head of hair.

This particular product I am going to definitely try out and that is the Natural Pure Greek Soap by Korres. This traditional Greek soap bar is inspired by historic beauty rituals of Cretan women. Formulated with natural ingredients, elevate your daily cleansing routine with this multi-use soap.

And the final product is the Lift Structure Cream by Filorga. Formulated with active ingredients to deliver effects, collagen and hyaluronic acid works together to visibly reduce signs of ageing. Created by a French dermatology clinic, Filorga is focused on creating skincare solutions directly inspired by non-surgical anti-ageing procedures. Expect visibly tighter and plumper skin, with restored firmness in just seven days.

1. Topialyse Palpebrale Dry + Sensitive Eyelid Cream - SVR - Worth £15

2. Peeling Mask - Ecooking - Worth £11.10

3. EGF Serum - Bioeffect - Worth £25

4. Go Big Spray - Bumble And Bumble - Worth £2.40

Roccabox Unboxing - May 2019 Box

I'm pretty late to blogging about May's month's beauty boxes so I'm probably way behind everybody else who have most likely had their posts up for weeks now.

But anyway, it's June now (It was actually middle of May when I finished this blog post but just forgot to proof read and publish so I've had to edit bits to reflect this month) and it's box number 5 of Roccabox 2019. I really love Roccabox and the type of products you receive. They're usually always different to other beauty boxes (Meaning you rarely get duplicates) and I'm always discovering new brands nearly every month.

This month's box theme is natural beauty and cleansing and detoxing ones' skin.

The first product is by a brand I have actually only heard about recently and have now actually received two different products by the brand in my beauty boxes this month. The Ice Source Hydrating Gel by the brand Polaar intensely hydrates skin whilst mattifying for a shine free complexion. It's unique complex of marine sugars gently eliminates dead skin cells to promote a brighter, more even tone. It's also vegan and paraben free too.

There is also a Charcoal and Bamboo Black Peel off mask by the brand T-Zone. It draws out impurities and peels away blackheads to unclog pores and keep skin clear.

I'm also curious to try out the Charcoal Soap Sponge by Daily Concepts. The 2 in 1 soap sponge hybrid tool combines detoixfying charcoal body wash with a mild exfoliating scrubber so you can skip a step and a product in the shower.

There is the Macadamia Ultra Noursishing Oil by Natural World. It's a hair treatment that helps lock in moisture and shine to nourish and repair, leaving hair feeling soft, frizz-free, and silky smooth. I actually have an argan hair oil I use so I will probably pass on this one as the one I am using is lasting a life time so I don't need two.

And the final product is something I will probably end up giving away as well as it's not my cup of tea and that's the Argan Lip and Cheek Colour Oil by Douvall's. It can be used to tint and nourish lips and cheeks. Applied as a light cream,  it transforms into a non-greasy moisturising oil, giving a natural petroleum-free luscious hydrating look. I hate rouge type of products that are anything but powder.

There was also a sample size of the Kierin NYC Perfume Sample. Honestly, it's such a unique smell and I kind of love it. I'm not entirely sure if it's my kind of scent but it's growing on me every time I spritz it on.
