NEW BEAUTY BOX SUBSCRIPTION - UNBOXING AUGUST'S MUMSY BOX

Well hey everybody,

I'm back with another beauty unboxing post. I've actually subscribed to a few more beauty boxes this month and received my first one from Mumsy box yesterday.

And for those of you who haven't heard about Mumsy box before, they're just like other beauty boxes, meaning you pay a monthly fee and receive a beauty box every month where you can discover new beauty products.

Mumsy is slightly different as it's not technically a beauty box. It's a box designed for mum's who deserve a little r&r time. In the boxes you can receive different products, including stationery and sweets but a lot of products are beauty related. Personally, I would class it as a beauty box given how many products are beauty products.

So Mumsy box costs £10 a month with £3.50 postage and they say you will receive 6 products every month in your box. I mean I'm not sure how many would be full size or not and this box didn't really give a clue but I felt it was worth the cost.

Now this is only the first box I have received off them but if you check out their website or their social media (Instagram Mumsybox) then you can see their previous boxes. You seem to get a good variety of stuff and for a box that's only been around since the start of the year they're doing pretty good in my opinion.

Anyway, onto the box...

So I was glad to see some wipes in this box as I was actually down to a few left of the one's I am currently using. The wipes are by the brand AA Skincare and contains tea tree oil and aloe vera. They are suitable for all skin types and are naturally antiseptic.

And even though I received a face mask in another beauty box this month, I didn't mind receiving another. I've never heard of the brand Ooharr before so I'm looking forward to trying this cream mask out. I've been neglecting to do face masks for a very long time so I do want to get back into doing face masks and get a good skincare routine down.

I'm not really fussed on receiving hair care products simply because I have had so many in the beauty boxes previously that I am having to give some away. This box includes a dry shampoo by the brand Merci Handy. I actually have a dry shampoo to try that I purchased from Superdrug. I haven't tried it out yet because it's for dark brunettes and I haven't coloured my hair in awhile. I may give this away.

And this is probably the thing I am looking forward to trying the most. A shampoo bar by Friendly Soap. Not only does it smell amazing, it's in the form of a soap bar so there are no plastic bottles used and only wrapped in a cardboard box. I am definitely excited to try it out because if it works well like a liquid shampoo I am definitely going to be buying a shampoo in this form.

The final beauty product in this box is a Plump & Firm Moisturiser by Bee Good. I am currently using a moisturiser and trying to commit to using it so I don't know if I would try this out because I want to stick to using the same products.

And the last product in this box is a packet of Sour Watermelon sweets by Candy Kittens. I've got to say I am not really a sweet lover but I will try these sweets out for the sake of not wasting them by throwing them in the bin.

So this is all the products in this month's box. I'm really happy with what I received and feel there are a lot of products I am going to use.

I am really excited to try out the next box.

Unfortunately on the information card it doesn't have the Rrp of the products or whether they are full sized or not but I feel there's a good variety of products for the price of the box.

GLOSSYBOX UNBOXING - AUGUST 2018 UK BOX (PRIDE EDITION)

It's that time again. My Glossybox arrived today and now I've finished filming the unboxing of it, it's time to blog and let you all know what's in this month's box.

So this month's box boasts six full sized products with the box being pride edition.

Glossybox will be supporting the LGBT community this month with fundraising events. It's been 50 years since the decriminalisation of homosexuality. I also learnt something from this box and from reading the articles Glossybox have been posting this week; The colour meanings of the rainbow flag and I'm glad to have learnt this piece of information. I'm really happy to see Glossybox doing something like this and being part of the LGBT community. It's good to spread awareness and be part of a community that has to fight to get the support and equality that should not have to be fought for.

Oh and did I mention there are six full sized products. Because there is.

Rimmel London have joined this month's box with two of their products included from their Ink Me range. The Heart Stamp Tattoo...

And the sticker tattoo's.

I'm just reminded of my childhood with having fake tattoos to stick on my arm and then having such a hard time getting the buggers off. Oh, the nostalgia.

And I'm super excited to try the 'Lets Pre Glam Perfecting Sheet Mask' by Victoria's Secret Pink. I haven't done a face mask in ages so I'm super keen to have a nice bubbly bath, stick a face mask on and chill out.

I'm not feeling the love for the Lip & Cheek Jam by Trifle Cosmetics just because it doesn't really interest me and I know I probably wouldn't reach for it. I can see myself getting rid of this product.

However, I am intrigued to try out the Astrolight highlighter by Kaleido Cosmetics.

And I know blue is the colour everybody is using right now but I'm super not keen on 'The Shadow Paint 703' by 3INA. Especially with how the formula is.

Below are all the products with their Rrp

1. Rimmel London Heart Stamp Tattoo £4.99

2. Rimmel London Sticker Tattoos £4.99

3. Victoria's Secret Pink Let's Pre Glam Perfecting Sheet Mask' £5

4. Trifle Cosmetics Lip & Jam £17.50

5. Kaleido Cosmetics Astrolight highlighter £13

6. 3INA The Shadow Paint 703 £8.95

Total £54.43

Did you get this month's box? What was your favourite product?

ROCCABOX UNBOXING - AUGUST 2018 BOX

Well hey everybody,

I'm going to start by saying that it's literally been  forever since I've blogged anything so I'm so happy to be back at it. I really miss it when I lose my routine.

I'm going to let you all know exactly what I have received in this month's Roccabox. Plus I have a little giveaway as well for all my readers and viewers over on my Youtube channel. (You can find me under Josephine xoxo by the way) If it's not up by the time this blog post is just keep checking back.

And for those of you who don't know what Roccabox is, well it's a beauty subscription box where you pay a monthly cost and get a box every month with beauty products filled inside.

Roccabox costs £10 a month with £3.95 postage. Usually they team up with a beauty blogger or influencer, etc, but this month doesn't feature a collaboration.

So in this month's box there is a total of five products with two being full sized. You get a bit of everything in this box from a cosmetic item to a lip mask and a vial of a new perfume on the scene.

I'm bummed this isn't the full size (we wish) but the scent of the Oscar De La Renta Bella Blanca perfume is beautiful. Heavy in freesia, jasmine and sandalwood, it's a scent that I think would last for a long period of time and leave you showered with compliments. Honestly, if you can get a hand on this perfume to smell, do it.

So I'm not really thrilled with this product because I dont like the look of the wand. The Doucce Punk Volumizer mascara is only a sample size but it boasts the appearance to look like a good pair of falsies.

As for the third product, well I'm not convinced how well it will work but I am definitely excited to try it out and will definitely try it out on my channel and maybe review it on here too. The Beauty Blvd Divine Hydra Gel Lip Mask is designed to plump and smooth dry and damaged lips.

And the fourth product is probably such a bore for some but I'm not mad at receiving the Wilkinson Sword Intuition FAB Women's Razor. There's nothing wrong with have plenty of the stuff we use frequently in every day life. Well for me personally.

And lastly, I've got to say I'm not wowed by the Ordo Travel Toothpaste just because I have a few to try out now and I usually like to stick with the same toothpaste.

1. Oscar De La Renta Bella Blanca Perfume Vial - SAMPLE SIZE - Full size Rrp £76

2. Doucce Punk Volumizer Mascara - SAMPLE SIZE - Full size Rrp £17

3. Beauty Blvd Divine Hydra Gel Lip Mask - FULL SIZE RRP £7.50

4. Wilkinson Sword Intuition FAB Women's Razor - FULL SIZE Rrp £11.99

5. Ordo Travel Toothpaste - SAMPLE SIZE - Rrp £2.50

So is this box as good as the first one I received? Absolutely not. But I mean I'm not mad though. Granted there is one or two things I'm kind of meh about but that's just how beauty boxes work. There's plenty of other future boxes to come. I'm pretty intrigued about the lip mask and the Oscar De La Renta perfume is divine. For my second box with Roccabox, I'm cool with it. I'm definitely excited to receive the next one.

Have you received this box? If so, let me know your thoughts.
