NEW BEAUTY BOX SUBSCRIPTION - UNBOXING AUGUST'S MUMSY BOX

Well hey everybody,

I'm back with another beauty unboxing post. I've actually subscribed to a few more beauty boxes this month and received my first one from Mumsy box yesterday.

And for those of you who haven't heard about Mumsy box before, they're just like other beauty boxes, meaning you pay a monthly fee and receive a beauty box every month where you can discover new beauty products.

Mumsy is slightly different as it's not technically a beauty box. It's a box designed for mum's who deserve a little r&r time. In the boxes you can receive different products, including stationery and sweets but a lot of products are beauty related. Personally, I would class it as a beauty box given how many products are beauty products.

So Mumsy box costs £10 a month with £3.50 postage and they say you will receive 6 products every month in your box. I mean I'm not sure how many would be full size or not and this box didn't really give a clue but I felt it was worth the cost.

Now this is only the first box I have received off them but if you check out their website or their social media (Instagram Mumsybox) then you can see their previous boxes. You seem to get a good variety of stuff and for a box that's only been around since the start of the year they're doing pretty good in my opinion.

Anyway, onto the box...

So I was glad to see some wipes in this box as I was actually down to a few left of the one's I am currently using. The wipes are by the brand AA Skincare and contains tea tree oil and aloe vera. They are suitable for all skin types and are naturally antiseptic.

And even though I received a face mask in another beauty box this month, I didn't mind receiving another. I've never heard of the brand Ooharr before so I'm looking forward to trying this cream mask out. I've been neglecting to do face masks for a very long time so I do want to get back into doing face masks and get a good skincare routine down.

I'm not really fussed on receiving hair care products simply because I have had so many in the beauty boxes previously that I am having to give some away. This box includes a dry shampoo by the brand Merci Handy. I actually have a dry shampoo to try that I purchased from Superdrug. I haven't tried it out yet because it's for dark brunettes and I haven't coloured my hair in awhile. I may give this away.

And this is probably the thing I am looking forward to trying the most. A shampoo bar by Friendly Soap. Not only does it smell amazing, it's in the form of a soap bar so there are no plastic bottles used and only wrapped in a cardboard box. I am definitely excited to try it out because if it works well like a liquid shampoo I am definitely going to be buying a shampoo in this form.

The final beauty product in this box is a Plump & Firm Moisturiser by Bee Good. I am currently using a moisturiser and trying to commit to using it so I don't know if I would try this out because I want to stick to using the same products.

And the last product in this box is a packet of Sour Watermelon sweets by Candy Kittens. I've got to say I am not really a sweet lover but I will try these sweets out for the sake of not wasting them by throwing them in the bin.

So this is all the products in this month's box. I'm really happy with what I received and feel there are a lot of products I am going to use.

I am really excited to try out the next box.

Unfortunately on the information card it doesn't have the Rrp of the products or whether they are full sized or not but I feel there's a good variety of products for the price of the box.
