Look Incredible - May 2019 Unboxing

Okay, I've got to say that I just love this month's Look Incredible box and have found the products in this month's box to be really for me and products that I am looking forward to testing out.

And a little bit about Look Incredible before I go straight into the contents because not everybody reading my post may have heard of them. It's a high end makeup and skincare beauty box where you receive beauty products at a cost of £35 a month. Which sounds a lot but you do usually get between 3-5 products and each product is always full sized and has a much higher total value than the cost of the box each month. And you'll always know of the brands you would receive in the box. Heard of Nars, Too Faced, Laura Mercier, Benefit? Well it's these sort of brands you'll receive products from. It's a super fun box and let's you explore different high end brands and the products they sell. Not only that, Look Incredible are an online retailer too so you can buy high end makeup and skincare from the website as well.

So this month's box includes a total of four products with a combined value of £100.50.

I am so excited to try out the Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow. It's a primer that promises to achieve you a dewy look. It says it creates a miracle fix to turn around tired, dull, dehydrated skin in a beauty flash, powered by a break through fluorescent core light diffuser that cleverly steals UV light from its surrounding and re-emits it as skin luminosity to disguise and transform drab, sleep deprived skin.

And you know, I didn't and still don't know exactly know what that means and exactly how it works so I did go and find the product on the Charlotte Tilbury website to go and check out some reviews and see what it's all about. They certainly are mostly positive and make the product sound promising. It does say it goes well with the Wonderglow foundation but as I don't own that foundation (Or live close to a CT store to check out the product) I will try it under my usual foundation and see how well it works. I absolutely love the whole natural dewy look going on right now and I've never liked super mattifying looks, for myself anyway.

The next product is the Too Faced Glitter Pop Eyeliner. It sounds fun but I think Too Faced has always been about that way with their products. I got the shade Kitty Glitter which is a gorgeous purple. It says it's a peel off glitter that has no fall out and won't budge until you peel it off. I'm not really a huge fan of eyeliners and glitter or really anything on the eyes but I might try this out just because the colour is so pretty.

There is one product that I will most likely pass on to somebody or sell and that's the IT Cosmetics Your Lips But Better All Day Waterproof liner. Any lip product that is any type of red I usually part with as red does not suit me at all and just makes me look washed out. I do love looking at people who can pull off a red beautifully but unfortunately it just doesn't suit me. It is a creamy formula and long wear stain that hydrates and conditions your lips while delivering gorgeous, velvety colour that's clinically shown waterproof, even after 8 hours of wear.

And the final product is the Astrolights Burnt Palette from Ciate London. It contains a mixture of metallics and mattes that are ultra buttery smooth and highly pigmented. I'm absolutely in love with the colours in this palette and the packaging is to die for. I am definitely going to try this palette out.
