I am so glad to be back doing a blog post where it actually involves some typing. It has been some weeks since I last did a blog post reviewing any products and I have missed it quite a bit to be honest.
So my May Glossybox arrived today and I'm super excited about this month's box and really wanted to get straight to blogging about it.
And like all my other Glossybox blog posts, I'll just start by saying that Glossybox is a beauty subscription box where you pay a monthly fee and each month you receive a beauty box consisting of five products with three usually being full sized. It's £10 a box with £3.25 postage. They also do a US box each month and they do offer different subscription services.
May's box has a theme to it. It's called daydreamer and consists of products to pamper and relax you. This is what the box looks like.
It's so pretty and I absolutely love pastels so am definitely going to keep this box.
And here is the card that comes in the box. *You will always get an information card just letting you know what's in your box and how much each item costs and the size of the product.*
This is what you get inside of this month's box
You get your usual five products and they have thrown in a little sample as well.
The first product is a Luxury Jelly Foot Soak by GELSPA. It's a vegan friendly foot soak that is a powder which turns to gel. It has a lemongrass and lavender scent and moisturises and soothes tired feet.
The second product is a True soft shampoo by Maria Nila. It's a vegan friendly shampoo and is sulphate and paraben free too.
The third product is the conditioner to go with the second product. It is designed to reduce frizz and the loss of colour associated with washing and heat styling.
The fourth product is the Praline palette by Trifle Cosmetics. It has a cute pastel packaging and consists of six eyeshadows. They are also vegan friendly.
The final product is a Facial make up remover by Kueshi. It says the clear solution is rich in soft oils and works with the blue solution to remove makeup gently.
And the sample is an Early Grey teabag by We are tea.
Here are the products with their RRP and size
1. Just for feet - Luxury Jelly Foot Soak by GELSPA - RRP £4.99 - FULL SIZE 40g
2. True soft shampoo by MARIA NILA - RRP £3.99 (100ml) £12.98 (350ml) - TRAVEL SIZE
3. True soft conditioner by MARIA NILA - RRP £4.99 (100ml) £13.99 (300ml) - TRAVEL SIZE
4. Praline palette by TRIFLE COSMETICS - RRP £15.55 - FULL SIZE
5. Facial make up remover by KUESHI - RRP £10.50 (100ml) - FULL SIZE
Sample Earl Grey by WE ARE TEA - RRP £2.99 (15 tea bags)
I absolutely love this month's box and think the products are useful. I'm really excited to try out the shampoo and conditioner. It smells so so nice and I have really long hair so I am always on the look out to try new shampoo's and conditioners.
I've been doing so much hiking lately so my feet are not in the greatest condition so I am definitely going to use the jelly foot soak.
I usually use wipes to remove my makeup and then just use a gel cleanser after to wash my face. I have used liquid makeup remover before and they've never been my cup of tea but I will definitely try it out.
I'm not all that excited for the eyeshadow palette and that's only because I'm not an eyeshadow kind of girl. I suck at it and already have enough palettes to practice with and definitely have similar colours. I will probably pass this onto someone else.
Have you received this month's box? If so, leave a comment and let me know what you think.
Xoxo
